Bojangles Sets Sights on Los Angeles County with Major Expansion Plan

In a bold move to capture the West Coast market, Bojangles, the renowned North Carolina-based fast-food chain, is set to make a grand entrance into Los Angeles County. The company plans to launch thirty new outlets within the next six years, with the first location opening in early 2025.

LOS ANGELES – Bojangles, famed for its authentic Southern-style chicken and biscuits, is poised to make its West Coast debut. The expansion, detailed in a recent company announcement, underscores a strategic push to introduce the beloved Southern flavors to a new audience in Los Angeles.

The initiative is driven by entrepreneur Lorenzo Boucetta and Poulet Brothers, LLC, who are at the forefront of this ambitious project. Boucetta expressed his enthusiasm for the brand, citing Bojangles’ compelling combination of distinctive menu offerings and robust business model as key factors in his decision to join the franchise. “The exceptional taste of Bojangles’ chicken and biscuits, along with their proven business support, made this an irresistible opportunity,” he explained.

Founded in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bojangles has grown substantially, boasting over 800 outlets across 17 states. The chain is celebrated for its scratch-made biscuits, meticulously breaded chicken, diverse side dishes, and refreshing iced tea.

Jose Armario, CEO of Bojangles, shared his excitement about entering the California market. “We are thrilled to bring our unique Southern dining experience to the people of Los Angeles,” said Armario. “We anticipate a warm reception and are eager to begin this new chapter in Bojangles’ history.”

This expansion not only marks Bojangles’ first foray into California but also represents a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy, aiming to build a strong presence on the West Coast.
