The sequel is set to hit theaters on September 6, 2024, and will bring back Michael Keaton in his iconic role as the mischievous ghost Beetlejuice. Joining Keaton in the cast are Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci, among others.

The plot of “Beetlejuice 2” will focus on the Deetz family returning to their old home in Winter River, where Astrid, Lydia’s daughter, summons Beetlejuice despite her mother’s warnings. The trailers promise plenty of chaos and mischief from Beetlejuice, keeping true to the spirit of the original film.

Notably, Catherine O’Hara confirmed that the beloved song “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)” will make a return in the sequel. O’Hara shared her excitement about being a part of the film and praised the talented cast, including Jenna Ortega.
