“The View” Co-Hosts Take Summer Break, Repeat Episodes

As summer approaches, the cohosts of “The View” are gearing up for a much-needed break. Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin will all be absent from the show during the first week of July. To give the hosts some time off, the morning talk show will be airing repeat episodes starting on Monday, July 1st. The cohosts are set to return from their vacation on July 8th.

During their break, “The View” will welcome a number of guests, including “The Bachelorette” season 21 lead, Jenn Tran. However, before the break, the producer of the show, Brian Teta, denied the cohosts’ on-air attempt to receive a cruise vacation.

In a recent TikTok video, Marc Sebastian referred to Goldberg as the “godmother” of the Serenade of the Seas cruise, sparking interest among the cohosts. Behar expressed her excitement about the trip, while Haines joked about only being able to handle a seven-day cruise.

Despite their interest, Teta shut down the idea of the cohosts taking a cruise on Serenade of the Seas. While the group did not end up going on the cruise, fans are eager to see how they will spend their hiatus.

“The View” has been on the air since 1997, featuring a multi-generational panel that covers a wide range of topics from politics to entertainment. The show airs on ABC weekdays at 11 a.m. ET. So, stay tuned for the return of the cohosts on July 8th!
