Report: Ali Wong Completes Divorce with Ex-Husband Justin Hakuta

Ali Wong Finalizes Divorce from Justin Hakuta

Ali Wong has finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Justin Hakuta, according to reports from Entertainment Tonight. The Beef star, 42, and Hakuta separated in April 2022, with Wong filing for divorce in December 2023. Last week, Wong and Hakuta reached an agreement, with court documents obtained by ET confirming that they are officially “single persons” as of July 17.

Details of the custody agreement for their two daughters, Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6, were not included in the documents, nor were any financial settlements. Wong and Hakuta, who were married in 2014, announced their separation after eight years of marriage in April 2022. In December of the same year, citing “irreconcilable differences,” Wong filed for divorce.

Despite the split, Wong publicly thanked Hakuta onstage in January when she accepted the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series for her role in Beef. She expressed gratitude for his love and support, emphasizing their ability to co-parent effectively. Wong later mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she aims to maintain a peaceful and amicable relationship with Hakuta.

Since 2022, Wong has been romantically linked to fellow comedian Bill Hader. The relationship seems to be progressing positively, with Hader even joining Wong on stage during a recent comedy set to present her with a red rose and publicly declare, “Ali Wong is off the market!” Sources close to the couple have indicated that they have a strong foundation and are considering marriage in the future. Friends believe that Wong and Hader are deeply compatible and devoted to each other, indicating a lasting connection between the two.
