United Rentals Celebrates 10th Anniversary of United Academy Training Program

The United Academy, the training arm of United Rentals, a US-based rental company, is marking a decade of success with its training program. Launched in 2014, the United Academy is recognized as the largest in the rental industry, offering a wide range of courses focused on jobsite safety and compliance.

With over 100 full-time certified trainers, the program provides training courses and OSHA certifications, including fall protection, worksite safety, and confined space entry. These courses are available both online and at 486 participating United Rentals locations across the U.S. and Canada, with options for training in Spanish and French as well as English.

Having trained over 730,000 individuals in the past ten years, the United Academy has been instrumental in promoting safety and skill development in the industry. Francois-Xavier Huneault, director of United Academy at United Rentals, emphasized the program’s commitment to evolving with customer needs and delivering high-quality learning experiences for safer worksites.

In addition to the training programs, United Rentals offers a convenient solution for companies to store and maintain student training records and certifications through United Academy. This ensures easy access for students through personalized digital wallet cards and the United Rentals Mobile App.
