Travis Kelce Defends Using Camera Flash at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour
Travis Kelce Defends Filming Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Concert With Camera Flash: ‘I Don’t Give a Damn’
NFL star Travis Kelce recently found himself in the spotlight for using his camera flash at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour show, and his brother Jason Kelce had some playful teasing for him. During a podcast episode, Jason compared Travis to their dad, Ed Kelce, for his flash faux pas, prompting Travis to defend his actions.
Travis explained that he simply wanted to capture some good memories and videos of his girlfriend during the Paris show on May 12, despite the automatic flash setting on his camera. He boldly stated, “I don’t give a damn,” when questioned about his decision.
Interestingly, Travis attended Swift’s show in Paris as her 87th show on the record-breaking tour, coincidentally representing his football jersey number for the Kansas City Chiefs. He praised Swift’s performance and the addition of her new era, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ to the tour.
The NFL player also shared his excitement for Swift’s show, urging everyone to experience it for themselves. He particularly praised the new album’s songs and the fresh elements added to the performance, calling it “absolutely unbelievable.”
During the show, Travis was seen enjoying the performance with Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper in the VIP suite. Swift, in a subtle nod to her boyfriend, donned red and gold sequins, representing the Chiefs’ colors during one portion of the show. Additionally, Swift performed a song called “So High School,” seemingly inspired by their romance, and incorporated football-themed elements into the performance.
Having attended five of Swift’s shows, including one before they started dating, Travis admitted he couldn’t pick a favorite among them, noting the electrifying atmosphere and the joy exuded by everyone involved in the production.
