Tim Tebow weighs in on Longhorns’ Arch Manning and Steve Sarkisian: “Bold statement made”
In a recent interview, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow made a bold statement regarding the future of the Texas Longhorns football program. Tebow expressed his confidence in incoming freshman quarterback Arch Manning, the highly touted recruit and nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning.
“I think Arch Manning has the potential to be a game-changer for the Longhorns,” Tebow said. “He has all the tools to succeed at the collegiate level and beyond. I wouldn’t be surprised if he leads Texas to a national championship during his time there.”
Tebow also had high praise for new Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian, who was hired in January after a successful stint as offensive coordinator at Alabama.
“Coach Sarkisian is a proven winner and offensive mastermind,” Tebow said. “I believe he will do great things at Texas and help develop Arch into a top-tier quarterback.”
Manning, a five-star recruit out of Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, is considered one of the top prospects in the 2023 recruiting class. His decision to commit to Texas was seen as a major coup for the Longhorns, who have struggled in recent years to compete at a national level.
With Tebow’s endorsement and the guidance of Sarkisian, Longhorns fans have reason to be excited about the future of their football program. Only time will tell if Manning can live up to the lofty expectations set for him, but one thing is for certain – all eyes will be on Texas in the coming seasons.
