STC Awarded Subcontract from Palantir Technologies Inc. for TITAN Ground Station System Development
**STC Awarded Subcontract from Palantir for Next-Gen TITAN Ground Station System**
CHANTILLY, Va., May 29, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Strategic Technology Consulting (STC), a subsidiary of Arcfield, has been awarded a subcontract from Palantir Technologies Inc. to support the development of the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) ground station system. This next-generation deep-sensing capability, enabled by artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), is set to revolutionize the Army’s intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities.
The subcontract will involve the development of 10 TITAN prototypes, including both advanced and basic variants, as well as the integration of new critical technologies to enhance the system’s performance in the field. TITAN uses AI/ML to rapidly process data from various sensors, ultimately improving warfighter situational awareness and reducing the sensor-to-shooter timeline.
STC will play a crucial role in this project, delivering a collaborative digital engineering environment that will streamline systems engineering processes by utilizing their latest innovations in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models and software. This will enable faster development of the prototypes and facilitate seamless integration of disparate tools within the team.
“We are excited to work with Palantir on this cutting-edge project to enhance the Army’s intelligence capabilities,” said Dan Reineke, president and general manager of STC. “This partnership represents a shift towards all-digital systems engineering, reflecting the Army’s commitment to modernization.”
Kevin Kelly, chairman and CEO of Arcfield, added, “We are proud of STC’s selection for this project and look forward to supporting the U.S. Army in this innovative work. The adoption of an MBSE-enabled solution demonstrates the Army’s dedication to accelerating military modernization efforts.”
STC has been supporting the Palantir team since January 2021, and their contribution has been instrumental in successfully completing the design and prototyping phases of the TITAN program. The company’s expertise in digital engineering and MBSE has positioned them as a key player in delivering this next-generation capability to the warfighter.
