Royal Report Reveals Prince William’s Yearly Earnings

Prince William’s Annual Earnings Revealed

Prince William’s annual earnings have been revealed, showcasing his substantial income from the Duchy of Cornwall estate. Inheriting the estate and the Duke of Cornwall title from King Charles in 2022, Prince William received a staggering $30.4 million in his first full year. This information was disclosed in the Duchy of Cornwall’s Integrated Annual Report, detailing the earnings for the 2023-2024 financial year.

The total sum includes official, charitable, and private expenses for Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children. As heir to the British throne, Prince William does not receive a traditional income but is entitled to the surplus profits from the Duchy of Cornwall estate, which was established in 1337 by King Edward III to provide funds to the heir to the throne.

Covering 130,000 acres across 23 English counties, the estate is valued at over $1 billion. Despite his substantial income, Prince William is not exempt from paying taxes, although the exact amount was not disclosed in the report. In addition to his financial affairs, Prince William and Kate Middleton are in the process of hiring a new assistant private secretary for Wales and the United Kingdom.

The job description, which required proficiency in Welsh, highlighted the role of supporting the Prince and Princess of Wales in their public engagements across the UK. This hiring decision could signify Middleton’s gradual return to royal duties following her cancer diagnosis earlier this year. Meanwhile, Prince William maintains a busy schedule, recently attending the UEFA European Championship final with his son, Prince George, showcasing his commitment to both royal duties and personal interests.
