Animal Box Office Collection Day 7 Crosses ₹500 Crore Mark
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release “Animal” has created a buzz at the box office as it crosses the ₹500 crore mark in gross worldwide revenue within just seven days of its release. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has been receiving positive responses from the audience since its debut on December 1.
Produced by T-Series, “Animal” has raked in a total of ₹527.6 crore in just six days, showcasing its explosive success across various languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film’s strong performance at the box office has solidified its position as a top-grossing film in recent times.
With a net collection of ₹25.50 crore on Day 7 in India, “Animal” has garnered a total of ₹313.35 crore in net revenue domestically. The film’s occupancy rates have been impressive, with 30.43 percent in Hindi, 23.43 percent in Telugu, and 20.64 percent in Tamil.
The movie’s box office journey so far has been remarkable, starting with a strong opening of ₹63.8 crore on Day 1, with the Hindi version contributing significantly. Subsequent days saw consistent collections, with Day 2 bringing in ₹66.27 crore, Day 3 amounting to ₹73.46 crore, and a steady performance on following days.
“Animal” has not only become one of Ranbir Kapoor’s most successful films but has also sparked debates due to its portrayal of misogyny, toxic masculinity, and violence. While Kapoor’s acting has been praised, the film has faced criticism from some quarters for its controversial content.
Moreover, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Ranjeet Ranjan has raised concerns over the film’s use of the song ‘Arjan Vailly’ and its depiction of gang warfare, calling it offensive and urging for more responsible filmmaking.
Featuring a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra, “Animal” promises an intense storyline revolving around the troubled relationship between Ranbir’s character and his father, played by Anil Kapoor.
