Prince George and Prince William Bond Over Soccer at UEFA Euro Championship Finals
Prince George and Prince William had a father-son bonding moment at the UEFA European Championship finals on Sunday, July 14. The duo watched the soccer game between England and Spain in Berlin. Both Prince William and Prince George share a love for soccer, with William being the president and patron of the Football Association in England. The UEFA Euro Championship is held every four years, and England has never won a match in this competition.
While the boys enjoyed the soccer match, Kate Middleton and their daughter Princess Charlotte attended the Wimbledon tennis matches in London. Middleton, who is currently battling cancer and undergoing treatment, made a rare appearance at the event. Meanwhile, Prince William had been actively participating in various sporting events, including the UEFA EURO 2024 Group Stage game between England and Denmark and the quarterfinals between England and Switzerland.
The recent appearances of both Middleton and William at sporting events came after it was announced that Middleton would not be attending the annual Charity Polo Cup to support William. Middleton’s first public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis was at Trooping the Colour on June 15. The royal family continues to show their support for each other, both in public and behind the scenes.
