“Nicholas Lyndhurst speaks out on leaving UK for good after US success”
Nicholas Lyndhurst, best known for his role as Rodney Trotter in the iconic British sitcom “Only Fools and Horses,” has recently spoken out about the possibility of leaving the UK for good after finding success in the United States.
The 60-year-old actor has enjoyed a successful career in the UK, but it wasn’t until he landed a role in the hit US television show “New Tricks” that he gained recognition across the pond. Speaking to Express, Lyndhurst revealed that he has been considering a permanent move to the US in order to further his career opportunities.
“I’ve always loved working in the UK, but the opportunities in the US are just too good to pass up,” Lyndhurst said. “I’ve had such a positive experience working on ‘New Tricks’ and I feel like there’s so much more I could achieve in America.”
Despite his success in the US, Lyndhurst admitted that the decision to leave the UK would not be an easy one. “I have so many fond memories of working in the UK and I will always hold a special place in my heart for British television,” he said. “But at this stage in my career, I feel like I need to explore new opportunities and challenge myself in different ways.”
Fans of the beloved actor need not worry, however, as Lyndhurst assured that he will always consider the UK his home. “No matter where my career takes me, I will always be proud of my roots in the UK and I will never forget the support and love I have received from fans throughout the years,” he said.
As Lyndhurst continues to weigh his options, fans eagerly await to see where his career will take him next. Will he make the move to the US for good, or will he continue to charm audiences on both sides of the Atlantic? Only time will tell.
