The Mississippi Public Service Commission passed a resolution in support of nuclear energy advancements, highlighting the benefits of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) as a clean and reliable energy source. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is investing in nuclear power, with plans to deploy experimental advanced nuclear reactors in North Mississippi and potentially at the Yellow Creek site in Tishomingo County.
