Anderson-Lee Library in Silver Creek has announced an exciting lineup of programs for the month of June. From children’s fairs to storytimes and craft workshops, there is something for everyone to enjoy this summer at the library.

One highlight event is the Silver Creek Children’s Fair on Saturday, June 1. Families can join in on the fun at the ballpark behind the library, where kids can make bookmarks, dance in bubbles, and learn about the upcoming summer reading program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”

Other programs include preschool and school-age storytimes, a Lego Club for building enthusiasts, and a creative workshop to make Summer Solstice Sun Catchers. Additionally, the library will be hosting the Adventure Begins at Your Library Summer Reading Registration from June 24 to June 29, where kids up to 17 years old can sign up for summer reading and receive a free book.

For those interested in crafts, the Secret Society of the Twisted Stitchers club offers a space for individuals who love knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and quilting to come together and create. The Chess Club is also open to all skill levels on Fridays for some friendly competition.

Anderson-Lee Library welcomes the public to attend these programs and more during their operating hours throughout the week. To stay updated on upcoming events, visit their website or follow them on Facebook.
