HanuMan 14th Day Box Office Collection: Teja Sajja’s Film Surpasses ₹150 Crore in India, Rakes in ₹220.6 Crore Globally

Box Office Collection Update: HanuMan Continues Impressive Run at the Box Office

HanuMan, the Telugu magnum opus, is continuing to make waves at the box office with its impressive collections. The film has now amassed a total of Rs.150.43 crore in domestic net collection, with Rs.108.79 crore collected till its 14th day in India. Despite a slight decline in earnings on Day 14, the movie is still going strong.

The drop in collections coincided with the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, a much-anticipated event that did not provide the expected boost to the film’s viewership. HanuMan, inspired by the Hindutva ideology of “Akhand Bharat,” did not see a significant increase in audience numbers post the ceremony.

Despite experiencing its most significant drop in earnings since its release, the film has managed to surpass its production budget of Rs.30 crore by a wide margin. With a worldwide collection estimated at Rs.220.6 crore, HanuMan is proving to be a profitable venture for its makers.

Directed by Prasanth Varma, known for his previous mythological film Abhimanyu, HanuMan blends traditional mythology with a contemporary superhero narrative. The portrayal of the titular character by Teja Sajja has been praised for its power and nuance, capturing the essence of HanuMan’s strength and unwavering faith.

Overall, HanuMan’s success at the box office showcases the audience’s interest in mythological narratives presented in a modern and engaging manner.
