Former Granite Hills Softball Player Selected to Represent Team USA
Former Granite Hills High School softball player, Sarah Johnson, has been selected to represent the United States on the national softball team. Johnson, who graduated from Granite Hills in 2018, has been a standout player since her high school days and has continued to excel at the collegiate level.
Johnson, who currently plays for a Division I university, was chosen for the team after an impressive performance at a recent national tournament. Her talent and dedication to the sport have not gone unnoticed, and she is now set to compete against some of the best softball players in the world.
“I am beyond excited and honored to be chosen to represent my country on the national team,” Johnson said in a statement. “I have worked tirelessly to get to this point, and I am ready to give it my all on the field.”
Johnson’s former coach at Granite Hills, Jessica Martinez, spoke highly of the young athlete, saying, “Sarah was always a leader on and off the field. Her work ethic and passion for the game set her apart from the rest, and I am confident she will make us proud as she represents the USA.”
