Broadening Horizons: An International Learning Experience with Milton Daily Standard
Students from Milton High School recently had the opportunity of a lifetime as they embarked on an international learning experience. The group of 20 students, along with two teachers, traveled to Europe for a two-week educational trip that broadened their horizons and provided them with invaluable cultural experiences.
The trip began in Paris, where the students marveled at the iconic Eiffel Tower and explored the Louvre Museum. They then made their way to Rome, where they visited the Colosseum and learned about ancient Roman history. The group also had the chance to immerse themselves in the local culture by sampling traditional Italian cuisine and practicing their language skills with locals.
One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to Barcelona, where the students were able to witness firsthand the stunning architecture of Antoni Gaudà and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. They also took part in a cooking class, where they learned how to make paella, a traditional Spanish dish.
Throughout the trip, the students were able to connect with their peers from different countries and gain a deeper understanding of global issues. They also developed valuable life skills such as independence, adaptability, and cultural awareness.
