Exploring the Ancient Coin Hoard of Jersey: A Professor’s Quest

A prestigious professor from Princeton University in the US has made a special trip to the small island of Jersey to delve deeper into the mysteries of a coin hoard discovered 12 years ago. Dr. Alan Stahl was captivated by the ancient collection found in 2012 in a field in Grouville parish by Reg Mead and Richard Miles.

During his visit, Dr. Stahl expressed his fascination with the sheer volume of coins in the hoard, which is a rare and significant find in the world of archaeology.
