Shah Rukh Khan to travel to the United States for eye treatment after Mumbai visit goes wrong

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to fly to the United States for urgent eye treatment after a procedure in Mumbai did not go as planned. According to a report, SRK is expected to leave for the US on Tuesday to rectify the damage and receive further medical attention.

This news comes after the actor attended a Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team match in Ahmedabad earlier this year and was later admitted to a hospital due to severe dehydration. At that time, KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla provided a health update on Shah Rukh, assuring fans that he was being looked after and would hopefully be back on his feet soon.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on screen in the film Dunki, released in December 2021, and is reportedly working on a project with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh titled King. The actor’s health has been of concern recently, with this being the second instance in which a celebrity has faced eye issues.

TV actor Jasmin Bhasin also recently underwent treatment for corneal damage after wearing lenses at an event in Delhi. She shared a selfie with fans, expressing her relief at being free from the eye patch and out of the danger zone, thanking her doctors for their support throughout the recovery process.

As fans eagerly await updates on Shah Rukh Khan’s health and upcoming projects, the megastar’s journey to the US for specialized treatment has sparked concerns and wishes for a speedy recovery.
