Yet another NFL analyst snubs Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff in latest rankings

Respect for Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff Growing, But Still Room for Improvement

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has been making waves this offseason, but it seems like NFL analysts still haven’t given him the respect he deserves. While there has been some improvement in his ranking, with Scott Kacsmar of 365Scores.com placing him at No. 13, in the “Used Goods” tier, it’s clear that Goff still has a long way to go.

Kacsmar praised Goff for his performance over the past two years, leading a top-tier offense and almost taking the Lions to the Super Bowl. Despite his success, Goff is still being underestimated in rankings, with many overlooking his impressive statistics and accomplishments.

Since 2022, Goff has proven himself as a top quarterback, ranking second in passing yards, third in passing touchdowns, and 10th in completion percentage. He has also been recognized as one of the most clutch quarterbacks in 2023 and earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2022. Additionally, Goff holds the most playoff wins of any NFC quarterback since entering the league in 2016.

While Goff’s ranking at No. 13 isn’t terrible, it’s clear that he deserves to be in the top 10. With another standout season in 2024, Goff may finally get the recognition he deserves. However, until then, Goff and Lions fans will continue to advocate for his rightful place among the league’s elite quarterbacks.
