Boitumelo Dorothy Phokungwane: Rising Star in the Modelling Industry

Boitumelo Dorothy Phokungwane, a 17-year-old aspiring model from Thembisa, is making waves in the modelling industry while also prioritizing her education and community involvement.

Born and raised in Limpopo, Phokungwane relocated to Thembisa in 2015 and has since been determined to succeed in both her academic and modelling pursuits. Currently in Grade 11, she has set her sights on obtaining a law degree from either the University of Pretoria or the University of Cape Town.

Despite her young age, Phokungwane has been participating in pageants since Grade R, showcasing her dedication and perseverance. She credits her achievements and her mother as her biggest inspirations, motivating her to push boundaries and reach for greater heights.

In addition to her modelling aspirations, Phokungwane is deeply passionate about community service. She is actively involved in the Change in Me project, where she contributes by donating sanitary pads to underprivileged girls at local schools, ensuring they have access to basic necessities for their education.

Through her volunteer work and philanthropic efforts, Phokungwane is not only aiming to make a name for herself in the modelling industry but also to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need in her community. Her story is a testament to the power of determination, generosity, and ambition in making a difference.
