Matthew Perry’s Death: Police Reports Suggest Multiple People Were Involved

Friends star, Matthew Perry, tragically passed away in October of last year at the age of 54, with reports suggesting his death was due to an overdose of Ketamine. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed this information in December, following a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Perry’s death in the bathtub of his Pacific Palisades mansion.

Police officials have now raised concerns about the actor’s death, hinting at the involvement of multiple individuals in the events leading up to his passing. The US Attorney’s office is currently reviewing the case to determine if charges will be brought against any suspects. Initially deemed accidental, Perry’s death has sparked a deeper investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DAE) and US Postal Inspector.

According to People magazine, the source of the Ketamine found in Perry’s residence was subject to scrutiny during the investigation. The autopsy report also revealed that Perry had been undergoing Ketamine infusion therapy as part of his treatment for depression. This form of therapy involves administering small doses of Ketamine as an anaesthetic.

Despite his struggles with addiction, which he candidly documented in his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” Perry had spoken out about his battles in a 2022 interview. He expressed his hope that sharing his story would provide solace and support to others facing similar challenges.

As the investigation into Matthew Perry’s untimely death continues, the entertainment world mourns the loss of a beloved talent and reflects on the complexities of addiction and mental health.
