The Pope’s visit to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and Singapore is set to be a historic event with a packed schedule of meetings, ceremonies, and masses.

Starting on Monday, 2 September 2024, in Rome, the Pope will depart by airplane from Rome/Fiumicino International Airport to Jakarta. The schedule includes an official welcome ceremony upon arrival in Jakarta and various meetings and engagements with authorities, civil society, and the diplomatic corps.

The visit will continue with stops in Jakarta, Port Moresby, Vanimo, Dili, and Singapore, where the Pope will meet with various groups, including young people, children with disabilities, and beneficiaries from charitable organizations. He will also hold mass ceremonies and deliver addresses to the faithful.
