Workdry International Expands into North America with Acquisition of Holland Pump
Workdry International, the parent company of UK-based pump specialist Selwood, has made a significant expansion into North America with the acquisition of pump specialist Holland Pump. This strategic move, backed by independent fund manager Arcus Infrastructure Partners, will see Workdry add 15 branches across the East and Gulf Coast regions of the US.
The acquisition of Holland Pump will bring more than 1,000 pump assets to Workdry’s rental fleet, creating a portfolio of over 7,000 units. Holland Pump will now operate as the North American division of Workdry and will focus on organic growth in pump rental solutions, further mergers and acquisitions, and expanding its offering to include modular wastewater treatment.
Tom Vossman, the current CEO of Holland Pump, will remain in his role and work alongside Workdry’s leadership team to integrate best practices and share expertise. The acquisition is seen as a strategic move to establish a “market leading presence” in the US and strengthen the combined group’s offering to various sectors including infrastructure, construction, municipal, and manufacturing.
Dan Lee, Group CEO of Workdry, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating that it gives the company a strong entry point into North America. He emphasized the shared vision and ambition for growth between the two companies.
Jordan Cott, partner at Arcus and Chair of Workdry, highlighted the growth trajectory of Workdry and the exciting opportunities it presents in North America. The acquisition will enable Workdry to expand its mission-critical, rental-based solutions offering to support sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure globally.
