Diljit Dosanjh’s Management Refutes Claims of Non-Payment to Background Dancers on Dil-Luminati Tour
The controversy surrounding Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati tour has taken a new turn as the singer’s management has refuted claims made by Rajat Batta and Manpreet Toor regarding the non-payment of dues to background dancers. The two dance institute owners had alleged that their dancers were not paid for their performances during the tour in the US and Canada.
In response to these allegations, Diljit’s manager Sonali has categorically denied the claims, stating that Rajat Batta and Manpreet Toor were never a part of the Dil-Luminati tour. “Our official team never contacted Rajat Batta or Manpreet Toor who are presenting false narratives on social media. Rajat and Manpreet were not part of the Dil-Luminati Tour in any way,” Sonali clarified in a statement reported by News18.
Prior to this statement, Rajat had taken to Instagram to express his disappointment, highlighting that the Desi Dance Community felt undervalued by Diljit Dosanjh’s alleged failure to pay the background dancers. Rajat claimed that all the Desi Dancers in the tour were not compensated and were expected to perform for free, despite their significant contribution to the industry.
The Dil-Luminati Tour, which has garnered immense success in the US and Canada, is now set to thrill audiences in Delhi and other parts of the world. The tour has been a major highlight in Diljit’s career, but this recent controversy has cast a shadow over the otherwise successful venture. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
