Lowe’s has announced that it will close all 1,700 of its stores and contact centers for 24 hours on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, as a gesture of appreciation for its 300,000 employees’ dedication. CEO Marvin Ellison emphasized the importance of allowing staff to spend the holiday with their loved ones. This marks the fourth consecutive year Lowe’s has closed on Easter, joining other retailers like Target and Costco. Customers can still shop online at Lowes.com or visit Home Depot, which will remain open on Easter.
