Joey Bart led the charge with a grand slam, while All-Stars Bryan Reynolds, Rowdy Tellez, Jack Suwinski, and Joshua Palacios also contributed with home runs. The Pirates scored an impressive six runs in the sixth inning to seal the win, much to the delight of their fans.

In other sports news, the Wheeling Nailers made their first player signing of the 2024 offseason by re-signing forward Matt Koopman to an ECHL contract.
