John Mulaney’s ‘Everybody’s In LA’ Features Joyce Manor Performance & Fred Armisen’s Old-Punk Focus Group

John Mulaney’s Netflix experiment, “Everybody’s In LA,” took an intriguing turn as Joyce Manor performed and Fred Armisen led an old-punk focus group.

In the latest episode of “Everybody’s In LA,” John Mulaney welcomed a diverse cast of characters including Nate Bergatze, Earthquake, Zoey Tur, Marcia Clark, and Richard Kind. Notably, the episode featured Joyce Manor and an old-punk focus group led by Fred Armisen.

The focus group included iconic figures such as Mike Watt, George Hurley, Lee Ving, Exene Cervenka, DJ Bonebreak, Penelope Houston, Kid Congo Powers, Don Bolles, Joe Baiza, Trudie, and Linda Ramone. They reminisced about the old days and even improvised a song.

Joyce Manor, hailed as one of the best contemporary LA punk bands, rocked the stage with their energetic performance. John Mulaney, a self-proclaimed fan, introduced them, and they played hits like “Constant Headache” and “Catalina Fight Song.”

This episode is part of Mulaney’s unique Netflix series, “Everybody’s In LA,” which revolves around Los Angeles-centric themes.
