Investigation into Matthew Perry’s death to uncover drug dealing underworld, as police gear up for manslaughter charges

Investigation into Matthew Perry’s Death Unveils Hollywood Drug Dealing Underworld

The sudden death of beloved Friends actor Matthew Perry in October 2023 has sent shockwaves through Hollywood, with sources claiming that it could potentially unravel a drug dealing underworld in the industry. Perry, 54, died from the “acute effects of ketamine” and was found dead in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home.

Following his death, an investigation was launched by the Los Angeles Police Department, with the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the US Postal Inspection Service also getting involved. Officials are now trying to determine who administered the fatal amount of ketamine to Perry.

Tracy Walder, a former special agent for the CIA and FBI, told Page Six that numerous individuals could potentially face charges in connection to Perry’s death. She highlighted the growing trend of drug networks using mail fraud to transport prescription medications, which is a federal offense. Involuntary manslaughter charges could be on the table for those involved, with potential sentences of up to five years behind bars.

Walder emphasized the importance of determining intent in these cases, noting that while individuals may have known they were engaging in illegal drug dealing, they may not have been aware that their actions would result in death. She also discussed the prevalence of using the mail to commit drug-related crimes and the significant profits that can be made through such activities.

Authorities have reportedly questioned Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller in connection to Perry’s death, although she has not been accused of any wrongdoing. Additionally, a second female celebrity has been linked to Perry’s death, with reports suggesting a shared struggle with drug addiction between the two.

As the investigation into Perry’s death continues, Tracy Walder expressed a desire to see convictions for those who supplied him with drugs, emphasizing the need for accountability in such cases. The tragic loss of Perry has raised concerns about the darker side of Hollywood and the potential dangers of drug abuse within the industry.
