When asked about Upinder Kushwaha’s recent statements, Nitish said: “We have nothing to do with them. They have the right to say what they want. don’t ask me about them

Patna: Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attacked leaders such as RCP Singh and Upinder Kushwaha, claiming that many leaders had come to his “JDU” party and he had promoted them, but these leaders either spoke against the party or left it. He added that it had no effect on the party.
On the 99th birthday of Jan Nayak Karpuri Thakur, Nitish Kumar came to Karpuri Gram in Samastipur district to participate in the program. “Some people (Kushwaha) joined the party two years ago and are now criticizing us, with the primary aim of creating a base to leave the party,” he said at the event.
Nitish Kumar said, “I have promoted many leaders, but they spoke against us and left the party, their absence does not affect the party,” Nitish Kumar said when asked about Kushwah’s recent comments. “We have nothing to do with them,” he said immediately. They came with us. They have the right to say what they want. Don’t ask me about them.”
Notably, Upinder Kushwaha merged his RLSP party with the JDU after failing to win a single seat in the 2020 parliamentary elections. The JDU entrusted him with the position of chairman of the party’s Parliamentary Council. Besides talking about Kushwaha, Nitish Kumar also indicated that he gave the top RCP position to Singh, but was involved in anti-partisan activities.
