The second match of the ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand is played at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
New Zealand set Pakistan a goal of 262 runs to win, both national team openers returned to the pavilion for only 9 runs in total, Fakhar Zaman Safar and Imamul Haq conceded goals scoring 6 runs, the third defeat came in the form of Muhammad Rizwan who scored 28 runs.
Pakistan’s fourth goal came in 86 runs in 26.5 overs as Haris Sohail was lbw from Phillips after scoring just 10 runs, Salman Agha was sent off after scoring 25 runs, Mohammad Nawaz also returned to the pavilion after scoring 3 runs.
New Zealand won the toss and opted to strike first in the second game of the ODI series, with the entire team eliminated by 261 runs in 49.4 overs.
