Due to the severe cold in Delhi, the Directorate of Education of the Government of Delhi has issued a recommendation for private schools. The guidance asks schools to remain closed until January 15 due to the winter. Most private schools in Delhi had a winter break until January 8, with schools expected to reopen from today.
Government schools in Delhi, on the other hand, have winter holidays from January 1 to January 15, but now an advisory has also been issued for private schools asking them to remain closed until January 15.
It is worth noting that classes for students in grades 9 and 12 in government schools in Delhi are held from January 2 to 14, so preparation for exams for children does not stop. Earlier, the Directorate of Education announced winter holidays until January 15 for all schools in Delhi.
It is worth noting that some private schools were preparing to open from today. Several schools have also sent notices to parents to send their children to school via WhatsApp groups and emails, according to media reports.
