Mumbai : Mumbai BJP President Adv. Ashish Sheller did on Sunday. When the Municipal Corporation is in power for twenty five years why is it time to appease Muslims instead of seeking votes for developmental work and why you are trying to change the complexion of Mumbai. In the backdrop of the municipal elections, the BJP launched the ‘Jagar Mumbai’ campaign and held its first meeting at Government Colony Grounds in Bandra East. MP Poonam Mahajan, Mumbai BJP in-charge Atul Bhatkhalkar, MLA Parag Albani were present.

Sheller said Marathi Muslims are promoting the idea for political gain. They do not understand the concept of Marathi Gujarati, Marathi North Indian, Marathi Hindu, why enmity with them? Although they are appeasing Muslims for votes, Marathi and Muslims will also stand with BJP. Marathi Muslim brothers of Konkan have not given separate hearth till date. They participate in festivals and joys and sorrows. So why propose a different stove? Sheller asked Thackeray why it was time to ask for votes based on caste and religion.

Sheller said, we will ask what happened to the corruption of twelve thousand crore rupees in the municipality? I want an answer to how much corruption has happened during Corona. Nawab Malik, who had financial ties with Dawood Ibrahim, was in the cabinet. He criticized the Maha Bikash Aghadi government for harming the people.

‘The mastermind of Pramod Mahajan’s murder has not been found’
