Keir Starmer says Britain is ready for ‘Mr Boring’ in wake of new government mini budget revelations.
“If anyone finds a government losing control of the economy in any way exciting, I think they need to go and talk to the people who are going to be looking at their mortgages today,” the Labor leader said.
Speaking to TalkTV, Sir Keir said the public want a “serious prime minister” with a “cautious, competent, confident plan.”
The entire interview was broadcast on Wednesday (September 28) at 7 p.m The news desk on TalkTV.
