Police have seized pesticides and fungicides worth about three lakh rupees bought illegally without license. This action has been taken based on the complaint of the Agriculture Department. A case has been registered at Ojar police station in this incident. This stock worth Rs 2 lakh 65 thousand 840 has been seized from in front of the entrance of HAL factory on Mumbai-Agra highway.

Pranab Sheteke from Kasbe Sukene of Niphad taluk was arrested in this incident. The suspect illegally procured fungicides and pesticides. Agriculture officer Abhijit Jhumre alleged that he was trying to stockpile it and sell it to farmers. Ojar Thana Police has filed a case under various sections in the case of cheating the government and farmers.
