On Thursday, the National Intelligence Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested a suspect linked to the Popular Front of India (PFI) from Mehrun area here by the Anti-Terrorism Squad of Akola.

The National Intelligence Investigation Agency (NIA) and local police teams raided offices, persons and important places linked to the Popular Front of India (PFI) in terror financing across the country around 4 am on Thursday. In Maharashtra, the National Intelligence Investigation Agency has taken this step with the help of the Anti-Terrorism Squad. One person was arrested from Jalgaon in this operation.

The anti-terrorist squad from Akola nabbed three people sleeping near a place of worship in Mehrun area around 4 am. Two of them were released after interrogation. The arrested person is a resident of Jalna and was hiding in Jalgaon for a few days. His name is Abdul Haddi Abdul Rauf Momin (32, Res. Rehmanganj, Barun Apartment, Jalna). A case has been filed against him.
