Pune : The centenary golden jubilee year of the Satya Shodak Samaj founded by Mahatma Phule begins on 24th September. On this occasion, the Department of History, Savitribai Phule Pune University has organized an exhibition on Satya Shodhak Samaj literature on September 24 and this exhibition will be on view from 10 am to 4 pm.

Mahatma Phule founded the Satyasodaka Samaj on 24 September 1873. So the 150th year of Sathya Shodhak Samaj is starting after completing 149 years. On this occasion, an exhibition has been organized in the historical museum on the first floor of the main building of the university. This exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Time will be in charge. Copies of truth-seeking literature, books on truth-seeking thought, newspapers and activists from various libraries like Jayakar Library, Wadia Library of Fergusson College, Shahu Library Kakadwadi, Deenmitrakar Mukundaro Patil Memorial Library, Kukne, have been brought to this exhibition. Khardekar Library, Shivaji University is included in this exhibition. Information will be presented by Dr. Head of History Department. Dr. Shraddha Kumbojkar. Dr. Kumbhozkar received a grant from the Indian Council of Historical Research to study this material collected as part of a research project. Along with the exhibition, a heritage tour will be held in the main building of the university at 11 am on that day.
