Pune : Pune city and nearby areas received heavy rain with thunder on Tuesday (August 30) night. Due to this there was dew in the air at night. The Pune Observatory has predicted light rain during Ganesh’s arrival on Wednesday (August 31).
Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad city and surrounding areas experienced heavy rains in early August. The intensity of rain has decreased since last week. For the past three-four days, strong sun is felt even in the afternoon. Even a week ago, the maximum daytime temperature in the city was 25 to 27 degrees Celsius. But it has been increasing for the last three days.
The temperature rose to 30 degrees for three days. On Tuesday it directly reached 32.6 degrees. Therefore, it feels a bit hot in the afternoon. During the day the sun sometimes shone and at other times the sky was cloudy. By evening, heavy clouds started coming in from the south-west of the city. After 9 pm, there is light rain in some parts of the city. Then around 10 pm there was heavy rain somewhere. Due to this, dew has formed in the air. According to the Pune Observatory forecast, the sky will be generally cloudy on Wednesday with chances of thundershowers. Light to moderate rain is likely during this time. After this, light rain is likely for three to four days.
