Announcement of Price City’s 2024 International Days Parade Grand Marshal: Frank Rocco Ori

The beloved and respected Frank Rocco Ori has been named as the Grand Marshal for Price City’s 2024 International Days Parade, a well-deserved honor for a man known for his resilience and dedication to his community.

Born in 1974 in Price, Ori’s love for sports from a young age paved the way for his successful career in recreation and broadcasting. After graduating from Carbon High School and the College of Eastern Utah, Ori continued his education at Mesa State College, ultimately earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications.

Returning to Carbon County, Ori became deeply involved in various community roles, including Director of Recreation, sports officiating, coaching, and radio hosting. His dedication to helping kids and advocating for recreational programs made a lasting impact on the community.

In 2017, Ori faced a life-altering challenge when he suffered a massive stroke that left him paralyzed and required multiple brain surgeries. Despite the adversity, Ori persevered through intense rehabilitation and retired from Carbon County in 2021 after a remarkable 28-year career.

Despite his health battles, Ori remains determined and grateful for the support of his family, friends, and medical team at Pro Rehab. His positive attitude and strong spirit have inspired many, making him a fitting choice for the Grand Marshal title.

As a devoted New York Mets fan and active member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church, Ori continues to pursue his passions and dreams, including a goal to visit all major league baseball stadiums.

Named as the Grand Marshal for Price City’s International Days Parade, Ori’s story of courage and perseverance serves as a reminder of the power of determination in the face of adversity. This honor is a well-deserved recognition of his strength and resilience, and a testament to the impact he has had on the community.
