Apple Intelligence Features Introduced in iOS 18.1 Beta

Apple Introduces Apple Intelligence Features in iOS 18.1 Beta for Developers

Apple has made a game-changing move with the release of iOS 18.1 beta, iPadOS 18.1 beta, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. The update introduces the first set of Apple Intelligence features for developers and tech enthusiasts. This includes improvements to Siri, smart capabilities in the Mail app, and enhanced search functionality in the Photos app.

However, the Apple Intelligence features are currently limited to users in the US. The iOS 18.1 beta is available for select Apple devices, specifically the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, powered by Apple Silicon M series chips. Models not eligible for Apple Intelligence will receive the iOS 18 beta 4 update instead.

While some prominent AI features like image generation and Genmoji integration are not yet included in the update, Apple assures users that they will be added soon. To experience the new AI features, users must join a waiting list by going to Settings > Apple Intelligence and Siri menu, and tapping “Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist.”

Apple will take some time to approve requests, after which users can download models to access various Apple Intelligence features. The company also hints that the upcoming iPhone 16 series, expected to launch in September, may not come with these features by default, but could receive them at a later date.

The inclusion of Apple Intelligence features marks a significant step forward for Apple, opening up new possibilities for developers and users alike. Users can expect an enhanced experience with smarter and more intuitive features on their Apple devices in the near future.
