CRPF Celebrates 10th International Yoga Day with Enthusiasm and Dedication

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) marked the 10th International Day of Yoga with great enthusiasm and dedication on June 21. The event, held in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, a Naxal stronghold in the Bastar region, featured a yoga session led by Anish Dayal Singh, Director General of the CRPF, along with senior officers and approximately 600 COBRA commandos.

The theme of the event was “Yoga for Self and Society,” emphasizing the role of yoga in promoting individual well-being and societal harmony. DG Anish Dayal Singh highlighted the importance of yoga in addressing various health issues and reducing stress, especially for personnel operating in challenging environments.

In addition to the event in Jagdalpur, the CRPF organized yoga sessions at the SDG Camp, Old JNU Campus in Delhi, and various remote locations across the country. The force recognizes the numerous benefits of yoga and is committed to integrating it at every level of the organization. They encourage their members to incorporate yoga into their daily routines to improve overall health and well-being.
