EUGENE, Ore. — Coby Hilton, a rising star in the world of track and field, gave it his all at the United States Olympic Track and Field trials over the weekend. Hilton’s journey came to an end on Sunday with an 18th-place finish in the men’s 100-meter dash, but his performance was nothing short of impressive.

In the qualifying rounds, Hilton ran a time of 10.19 to advance to the semifinals of the event. His near-photo finish in the first round, where he finished just behind Elijah Hall-Thompson and Ameer Webb, showcased his speed and determination. Hilton’s main focus was on securing a top-five finish in the heats to advance, and he successfully achieved that goal.
