Class of 2024 Graduate Rayven Sample Competes in U.S. Paralympic Team Trials

Class of 2024 graduate Rayven Sample is gearing up to represent the United States at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Sample, who specializes in the 100-meter and 400-meter dashes in the T45 category, will be competing in the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials in Florida from August 30 to September 8.

Having graduated from Bucknell University, Sample credits the institution for its unwavering support throughout his athletic journey. His coach, Richard Alexander, is confident in Sample’s abilities and believes he has a real chance of qualifying for Team USA.

Sample has had previous success at the national level, winning multiple gold medals at the Paralympic National Championships and securing a bronze at the Parapan American Games. With a strong track record of performance, Sample is poised to make a mark at the upcoming trials.
