Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts” has made a strong debut, earning approximately $11 million in Thursday night previews and receiving a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. The film, featuring Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, is projected to open globally with up to $175 million, including estimated domestic earnings of $70-$75 million. Although its preview earnings are lower than “Captain America: Brave New World,” they surpass those of “Shang-Chi” and “Eternals.” Directed by Jake Schreier, “Thunderbolts” offers high-demand viewing options like IMAX and 4DX. Meanwhile, competitor film “Sinners,” directed by Ryan Coogler, is expected to earn around $35 million in its third weekend.
