At the RNC, UFC’s Dana White and Donald Trump’s enduring friendship takes center stage

“Dana White to Introduce Donald Trump at Republican National Convention”

The president of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White will be taking center stage at the Republican National Convention to introduce his long-time friend, former President Donald Trump. This comes after an assassination attempt on Trump at a recent rally.

White, known for his unfiltered and unorthodox style similar to Trump’s, has been a vocal supporter of the former president for years. Their friendship dates back to 2001 when Trump hosted UFC events at his Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, helping to boost the company’s profile and secure larger venues for future events.

Despite controversies in both their personal lives, White has remained loyal to Trump, endorsing him at the RNC in both 2016 and 2020. Trump, in turn, has attended multiple UFC events as a special guest, receiving thunderous ovations from crowds.

The failed assassination attempt has only strengthened White’s support for Trump, with White describing him as the “legitimate, ultimate, American badass of all time.” Trump has reportedly rewritten his nomination speech to call for unity in the wake of the incident.

The convention will also feature appearances from pro-wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, with one Trump surrogate likening the former president’s entrance to “Hogan at Wrestlemania.” The stage is set for a fiery and engaging event as White and Trump take the spotlight together once again.
